CITYCROPS is a concept.

We aim to design, build, and renovate facilities where food can be grown and distributed right in the urban centers where most people live.

Aaron J. Briggs is the principal designer behind CITYCROPS.

After obtaining a bachelors degree in environmental design at Texas A&M, Aaron received a masters in architecture at Texas Tech. He’s worked as a designer in three prominent architecture firms, and obtained LEED certification in 2008. Aaron is a board member for the Cascade Neighborhood Farmer’s Market in the South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle where he lives. He works full time on CITYCROPS and is currently seeking venture capital to support  the first prototype for an aquaponic urban greenhouse design.
